Product Description
The Bard's Tale is an RPG for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The gameplay is similar to Dungeons and Dragons, and as in typical RPG's, you can choose from different classes, weapons, and magic. Mangar the Dark is bent on taking over Skara Brae. You are the leader of a group of warriors that hope to free the village from the terrible Mangar. You will travel across an expansive world and through dungeons fighting off Mangar's monsters. Combat is round-based; you and your teammates attack, and then your enemies retaliate. The enemies are scary, the exploration superb, and the adventure long, so you will not be disappointed. If you love RPG's then you absolutely have to check out The Bard's Tale, as it is one of the best examples of the genre on the NES!
